The original soundtrack to the restored version of "The Light of Asia" from 2001, originally produced by Franz Osten in 1925. The film tells the life story of the historic religious leader Gautama Buddha. The basis for the screenplay was Sir Edwin Arnold's eponymous epic poem of 1879.
